Ronald A. Walker

Ronald A. Walker Battle Creek, went to be with his Lord Wednesday, February 1, 2012 surrounded by his family. Ron was born September 19, 1937 to Arthur and Nettie (Willis) Walker. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1955 and went on to be a Battle Creek business owner for 30 years. Ron was an avid golfer. When he wasn't golfing he enjoyed the Christian channel, books and music. Most of all he loved and adored his family. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jan Walker of 52 years; sons, Bart (Vikki) Walker, Todd (Lisa) Walker, Chad (Kristine) Walker; grandchildren, Shane, Kate, Zachary, Emily, Jeff; and sister, Dixie (Larry) Easterday. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Nicole. Family will receive friends on Monday, February 6, 2012 from 12:00 noon-2:00 PM at the First Assembly of God. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Bowering officiating. After the service a luncheon will be held at the church.
