My motherinlaw shall forever remain in my memory as "THE SMILE LADY". Mom had a smile for everyone she met. To say she touched a thousand hearts with her smile wouldn't be over stated. When I took her places, whether we were at the Gas Station, a local Resturant, the Grocery Store or the Doctors

Office, she would smile and say, " Hi there " to all she came face to face with. It didn't matter to her who they were, there was always that big SMILE for every one.

This Lady smiled when she woke in the morning, she smiled at the Birds outside her window, she smiled when she sang the Lord's music, she smiled so much, I'm sure she smiled in her sleep, and I'm positive she is smiling right now, for she is with the Lord and that's exactly where she wants to be.

( I'll bet she smiled her Grandest Smile when she met her Lord.")

ThankYou Lord for giving us all your Special Angel of Smiles, she has touched our lives as no other could.

Henrietta and I became "best buds" shortly after she moved to LakeView Continuing Care Center. I would visit with her every Tuesday and would be her traveling companion whenever the residents took trips.

Henrietta loved to talk about her family and how she raised her children (stern, but loving). The time the kids fell asleep and let the cow wandar away was one of her favorites...she was TERRIFIED of that cow.

She loved to share her life and her faith with anyone who would listen. As her eyesight was failing more and more, her worst fear was that she could no longer read her beloved Bible.

On any of our special occasions, we would celebrate with either a greasy cheeseburger or her favorite...a fried chicken leg...followed by ice cream. Not the healthiest diet, but we didn't do it very often.

I will miss her...I'll miss her smart alecky replies. (How ya doin? ..."Still kickin', but not very high!") I'll miss her sweet smile and her humility, her interest in all things..but most of all I'll miss her love.

My heartfelt sympathies to her family. She was one special lady.
