Ernest Cone

CONE (ROCKFORD) - Mr. Ernest Leslie Cone, age 86, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011. He served his country in the US Marine Corp during WWII. Ernest worked as a Flight Instrument Technician for Boeing Aircraft and Lear Siegler. He was a member of the V.F.W. Renner-Lobker Post #3306 in Howard City. Ernest is survived by his loving wife, Margarette; children, Mary Jane Cone, Beverly Jean (Marshall) Cone-Stegal, Jacalyn (Harold) Meester, Skip (Sandy) Cone, Rebecca Sue Cone, and Douglas (Maria) Cone; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Albert Cone and Eva and Richard Cone; and nieces and nephews. The service for Mr. Cone will be Saturday, October 29, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Pederson Funeral Home. Military honors will be under the auspices of the Kent County Veterans Honor Guard.
