Willis Vandenberg Sr.

VANDENBERG - Mr. Willis E. Vandenberg Sr., age 85, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 8, 2011. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of fifty years, Patricia. Surviving are his two children; Heidi Wilson of Grand Rapids and Bill (Sherie) Vandenberg also of Grand Rapids. Also his precious granddaughter Megan and two nieces. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and his family will receive friends at Trinity Lutheran Church (2700 East Fulton) on Wednesday from 4-6 p.m. and from 7 until 7:30 p.m. at which time a Memorial Service will be held with his Pastor Paul Krupinski officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in his memory are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church. The family is being served by: Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Service
