Terry (Hirt) Broughman

BROUGHAM - Terry J. Brougham (Hirt), aged 60, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 2, 2011 after a seven year battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Hirt; granddaughter, Vanessa Brougham; mother-in-law, Jean Brougham. She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Michael Brougham; children, Todd and Stacy Hardy, Matt Brougham and Brian Brougham; grandchildren, Emily, Madelyn, Reese, Lindsay; mother, Jean Hirt; and many family members and friends. Terry grew up in Jenison, Michigan where she finished high school and worked at Oven Fresh for 20 years before retiring. Funeral services for Terry will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 3152 Clyde Park SW with Rev. Lee Welker officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Members of the family will receive relatives and friends at the Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Chapel (Wyoming), 4031 Clyde Park SW Tuesday 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice - Trillium Woods. The family would like to say a special thanks to Dr. O'Rourke and Pat Tol, Terry's nurse for seven years and the staff at the Lemmon Holten Cancer Center, Dr. Mulder and his staff at Hospice in Byron Center, family friends, neighbors, Pastor Welker and anybody that stopped by to see Terry.
