KAMER - Justin H. Kamer, age 89, of Holland, went home to be with his Lord, Friday, December 17, 2010, at Zeeland Community Hospital. Mr. Kamer was born Jan. 6, 1921 in Zutphen to Dick and Hattie Kamer. He was a member of Community Reformed Church. A veteran of the US Army, he served during World War II. Mr. Kamer worked as a welder on airplane parts for many years until his retirement. Preceding him in death were twin infant boys. Surviving is his wife of 63 years, Gertrude; children, Barbara and Randy De Hoop, of Jenison, Harvey and Lynn Kamer, of Zeeland, Norman and Deb Kamer, of Hudsonville, Jack and Lynette Kamer, of Rockford, Scott and Karen Kamer, of Hudsonville. ten grandchildren; nine grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Harry and Marge Kamer of Zeeland, Don Kamer of Remus, Edna and Bob Snip of Hudsonville, Gladys and Jerry Brink of Zeeland, Hilda Westhuis of Hudsonville; in-laws, Iris Kamer of Holland, Cora Westhuis of Hudsonville, Dick and Dorothy Berkompas, of Hudsonville, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 21, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at Community Reformed Church, 10376 Felch St., Zeeland. Officiating will be the Rev. Kurt Henry. Burial will be in Zutphen Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland.
