LAMPHERE - Virginia Irene Lamphere, age 82, of Muir, passed away December 12, 2010 at her home. She was born October 30, 1928 in Orleans Twp., Michigan the daughter of Ora and Martha (Adrian) Tingley Sr. Virginia married Carl Lamphere February 17, 1946 in Muir. He preceded her in death March 31, 2006. She worked for Chrysler in Lyons retiring in 1988 after many years. A memorial service will be held Wednesday 1:00 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Muir with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 12:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to Shiloh Community Church or Ionia Commission on Aging.
