QUINT - Paul E. Quint met his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 21, 2010. He was born to Joseph and Marie Quint on March 24, 1920 in Grand Rapids, MI and was the eldest of four sons. Paul married Ruth on April 23, 1941 and soon left home to serve with the U.S. Navy during World War II. Upon his return from service, Paul began his work life as a tool-and-die maker for many years at Jarecki Corp. and finally retiring from General Motors Plant 1 in 1985. Paul was a long time member of Faith Reformed Church in Wyoming and served there as a Sunday school teacher, a Deacon and an Elder. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe and Don and is survived by his brother, Ray and sisters-in-law, Marjorie Quint and Juanita Quint. Paul was a devoted family man. He will be greatly missed every day by the love of his life Ruth, his wife of 69 years; his son, Gary (Sandi) and his daughters, Nancy (Bob) Feighner and Barbara (Mark) Billock. Paul loved to play with his grandchildren when they were small and was very proud of them as they grew up. Jon (Jen) Quint, Leah (Tony) Neifert, Matt Feighner, Emily Feighner, Joe Billock and Anne Billock loved their Grandpa in return. Paul was blessed to enjoy watching his great-grandchildren laugh and play and he laughed along with them. Libby and Ella Neifert and Andy and Ben Quint thought their "Grandpa-great" was truly great. Paul's family is grateful to the wonderful staff at Pilgrim Manor for their kind and compassionate care. Friends may meet with Paul's family at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Faith Reformed Church, 618 32nd St. SW, Wyoming, MI 49509, with Pastor Bruce Osbeck officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Faith Reformed Church in Paul's memory would be appreciated. Zaagman Memorial Chapel
