SCHUTTER - Gerald Schutter, age 83, of Jenison, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, October 16, 2010. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Denise Postma and his brothers and sisters. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Virginia; children, Peggy (Howard) Potter, Jack (Coleen) Schutter, Marcia (Rick) Hoffman; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; sister, Mary Jane Huttenga; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Viola Schutter, Harriet Wieringa, Gert Schutter, Jeanette VanderPloeg, Jim (Bert) Vander Kodde, Bill (Lee) Vander Kodde; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Drive with Rev. Tony Meyer officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery.
