Clarence Smith

SMITH - Clarence William Smith, age 83, of Marne, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Marjorie and infant son. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Kenneth and Autumn Smith, Jerry Smith, Harley and Tisha Smith, Marcy and Kevin McDaniel, John and Amanda Smith; eight grandchildren with one on the way; sister, Ann Toppen; sisters-in-law, Florence Smith, Dorothy and Terry DuBridge; brother-in-law, Harold Snip; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00 a.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf (corner of Avery and Scott), 6651 Scott St., Allendale. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.
