OBITUARY:

Duane M. Faulkner Sr., 77, passed away Tuesday August 31, 2010 at Allegiance Hospice Home in Jackson. He was born November 9, 1932 in Clarence Township, Michigan to Leon and Edith (Swafford) Faulkner. On September 4, 1954 he was married to Doris Dingee and she survives. He has been a resident of the area his entire life. He had worked at McGraw-Edison in Albion on the Assembly Line retiring in 1971. He enjoyed Camping and Ice Fishing. Besides his wife he is survived by 1 daughter Karen (Bruce) Merwin of Albion; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren; 1 sister Irene (Lowell) Sellen of Springport; Numerous Brother and Sister in laws. He was preceded in death by a son Duane M. Faulkner Jr. in 1999 and his Parents. Visitation for Family and Friends will be Thursday September 2, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral services will be Friday September 3, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Winford Collins officiating.
