Edward "Bud" Harkes

HARKES - Mr. Edward "Bud" Harkes, age 82, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, June 28, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia in 1999; and by his brother and several sisters. Bud will be missed by his children, Dottie Maslowski, Charles and Donna Harkes, Mary and Kipton Hebron, Scott Harkes; grandchildren, Ben and Beth Maslowki, Angela and Brad Hutchens, Julie and Derek Allan, Katie Maslowski, Andrew Harkes, Jennifer Harkes, Andrea Hebron, Bethany Hebron; 10 loving great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Westra, Mary and Al Scholtens, Virginia and Gorden Beuker; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday 1:00 p.m. at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel with Rev. Vernon Bareman officiating. Bud's family will greet friends and relatives at Zaagman's on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Those wishing may make contributions to the American Heart Association. Zaagman Memorial Chapel
