Ruth (Helmholt) Haveman

HAVEMAN - Mrs. Ruth (Helmholdt) Haveman, aged 82, of Moline, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 22, 2010. She was a life long member of Moline C.R.C. She was a loved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her mother, Grace; her loving husband of 58 1/2 years, Harold; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Leo (Alice) Haveman, Edwin Haveman, John (Laura) VanderWoude, Don Haveman, Christene Haveman, and Leonard (Sharon) Haveman. Surviving are her two sons, Ron (Marla) Haveman and Gary Haveman both of Moline; daughter, Sandra (Dale) VanderMolen of Cutlerville; grandchildren, Terri (Steve) Kuipers, Trish (Chris) Dykstra, Jessica Haveman, Stacey (Mark) DeWeerdt, Jason (Amber) VanderMolen, and Amanda (Gregg) Oldebekking; 13 great grandchildren; her very special neighbor and friend, Janice Haveman Huyser; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gerry (Elaine) Haveman, Belle (Case) Potts, Grace Haveman, Loie (Ed) Potts, Allen Haveman, and Ken (Marge) Haveman; and many, many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2010 at Moline Christian Reformed Church, 4341 Chappell St.; with Rev. John Ouwinga officiating. Interment in Jones Cemetery. Memorials contributions may be made to Moline Christian School. The family will greet friends on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
