Steven Vanderjagt

VANDERJAGT - Steven Craig Vanderjagt, 46, of Sparta, went to meet his Savior Monday morning, May 3, 2010. He was born May 1, 1964 in Grand Rapids, and is the son of Eleanor Louise (Wierstra) and the late Kenneth J. Vanderjagt. He enjoyed camping, fishing, going to the beach, and playing Frisbee golf. He loved spending time with his family and watching football. He was a very relaxed and laid back individual who was a great and loving son, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his mother, Eleanor; a sister, Jan (Scott) Datema; three nephews, Chad Wirt, Austin Wirt, and Randy Datema; two nieces, Lauren Wirt, and Alexis Datema; several aunts, cousins, and a host of many friends. Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave., N.E. and Three Mile Road, with Rev. Roger Eernisse officiating burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
