Merita (Haas) Harig

HARIG (HAAS) - Merita Pauline Harig, age 95, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 10, 2010. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 75 years, Clarence Harig; son, Robert Harig; sister, Louise Wright; and brothers, Marvin Haas and Merlin Haas. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Maynard (Joanne) Harig, and Jimmie Harig; 12 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren; sisters, Myrtle Bruusema, Marcia Barton, and Mary Andrews; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building) with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Interment will be at Georgetown. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, 4235 Prairie SW, (West Building).
