Robert H. Maat, 71, of Holland, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, in Zephyrhills, Fla. He was a member of Calvary Reformed Church and had served on its consistory. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in Korea. He was a member of the Vintage Car Club of Holland and retired from Haworth Corp. after 44 years of employment. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marian; children, Douglas and Shari Maat of Holland, and Steven and Daeng Maat of Holland; three grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Warren and Amy Maat, and James Maat, all of Holland; brother- and sisters-in-law, Mrs. Junior (Vivian) Terpstra, and Dorothy and Robert Miedema, all of Holland; nephews, nieces and cousins. Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Calvary Reformed Church, 995 E. Eighth St., with the Rev. Blaine C. Newhouse officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St. Memorials may be made to Bethany Christian Services.
