Henry Klaassen

KLAASSEN - Henry Klaassen, aged 88, of Cutlerville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 16, 2009. Henry proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII, where he received the Purple Heart after being wounded. He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings. Surviving are his wife of almost 55 years, Claryce; his children, Linda and Santa Gubhaju, Susan and Max Brail, Kevin and Renee Klaassen, Sally and Steven Nichols; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ethel Klaassen, Mary Klaassen, Betty Wiggers, Hugh Wiggers, Millie and Don Boeve, Wes and Marge Wiggers, Dennis and Rosemary Wiggers, Bruce and Barb Wiggers. The Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, November 19, at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 7171 Willard Ave. SE; with Rev. Curt Walters and Rev. Cal VanderMeyden officiating. Interment in Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be given to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods.
