Thomas Gebben

Thomas H. Gebben, 65, of Hamilton, formerly of Holland, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, at his home. Born in Alamo Township, he graduated from Zeeland High School and served in the U.S. Army. He drove truck for more than 30 years. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jennifer Chrispell, in 2000. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lois; children, Connie and Gary Chrispell of Hamilton, David and Tami Gebben of Spring Lake, and Vicki Tharp of Hamilton; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; mother, Dorothy Gebben of Zeeland; sister, Betty Warren of Ganges; brothers, William Bradley of North Dakota, and George Austin of Florida; several other brothers and sisters; in-laws, Margaret and Marty Miller, and Roger Kamphuis of Holland. An open house in his honor will be noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the home of his daughter, 3442 47th St., Hamilton. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Holland. Arrangements are by the Hamilton Chapel, Notier-Ver Lee-Langeland Funeral Homes.
