JoAnn Mohr

MOHR - JoAnn Mohr, age 79, of Wyoming, MI, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, October 5, 2009. She was a homemaker who raised her children in a godly home, always praying for each child. Since she was an only child, JoAnn felt blessed to have children. She taught her children how to be a family and supported their decisions. She looked forward to family gatherings at Christmas, the opening day of deer season, and other special gatherings. In leisure time, she enjoyed her cats and dogs. JoAnn is survived by her daughters, Sena Mulder, Merle (Les) Sullivan, Rhonda (Steve) Balk, all of Wyoming, MI; her sons, Bud (Tina) Mohr of Greenville, Jeffrey Mohr of Grand Rapids, and Corey (Kim) Mohr of Comstock Park; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her son, Bradley. The service for JoAnn will be Friday, October 9, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Prayer Chapel at Grand Rapids First Assembly of God with Pastor Howard Colver officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Friday from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. before the service at the church.
