Bernice Hamstra

HAMSTRA - Bernice R. Hamstra, age 90, of Grand Rapids, peacefully passed into Glory on Friday, July 17, 2009. Bernice was born in Grand Rapids to John and Henrietta DeWaard. She was the wife of the late Gerald Harvey Hamstra. She is survived by daughters, Holly Stevens and her husband, Ashley, Loralee Westmaas and her husband, Joel, and her son, Loren Hamstra; also survived by grandchildren, Christopher, Spike and Luke Stevens, Katrena, Emily Westmaas; and her sister, Marjorie Koster. In keeping with her wishes, arrangements were private. The family is grateful for the loving longterm care provided by the staff at Raybrook.
