Obituary
HODDER - Mr. Russell Hodder, aged 68 of Walker, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 8, 2009. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Joanne (Jarrett); his children, Russell O. Hodder Jr. and Kathy (O'Shea), Robert L. Hodder and Sheri (Warriner), Rochelle M. (Hodder) Selbach and Joseph; grandchildren, Rusty, Murphy, Emily, Alexandra Hodder, and Lewis and Carson Selbach; his brothers, Roger (Lauri), Ronald, Ricky (Trisha) and Richard Hodder; nephews, Ryan (Lorri) and Randy (Michelle); one niece, Rebecca. He was a volunteer for 14 years at Walker City Firefighter and a volunteer for seven years at the Walker City Police. Russell was a member of West Walker Sportsman Club. He loved to hunt, especially in Michigan, Wyoming, Colorado, Canada and Alaska. He retired from AMP, Incorporated after 33 years, and was a consultant for Global Green Lighting. Mr. Hodder was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church. He will repose in church one hour prior to Mass. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd., where a Vigil Service will be held Friday at 8:30 p.m. Memorial contributions to the American Heart Association will be appreciated.
