Wayne Dinges

Passed away quietly at his home on June 20, 2009. He was born May 22, 1929 in Kalamazoo, MI to the late Milford Dinges and the late Marian DePlanche. Wayne graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School and worked in construction and subsequently in sales at Motorola Corp. until his retirement. During Wayne's life he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Wayne is survived by his wife of 35 years, Virginia Dinges; one son, Steve Dinges of Kalamazoo; three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen (Al) Smith, Kathy (Steve) McCormick and Chris (Jon) Kloosterman, all of Vicksburg; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, one sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Bill Cook of Portage; one niece, three nephews and their families. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society or the American Diabetes Association . Arrangements by Avink Funeral Home Cremation Society Schoolcraft.
