Randy Maass

MAASS (Rockford) - Mr. Randy H. Maass, age 65, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, April 5, 2009. After graduating from Sir James Dunn High School, Randy received his B.A. in business from Western Michigan University. For 24 years, he worked for Holly's, Inc. (Holiday Inn) and then for Fazoli's as a franchise manager for 13 years. Randy is survived by his loving wife, Karen; his daughter, Tracey and Brian Dickerson of Grandville; his grandchildren, whom he loved so dearly, Devin and Sarina; mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Maass; brother, Peter and Lena Maass; sisters, Antje and Martin VanBoerdonk, and Susanne and Thomas Walls; mother-in-law, Mrs. Dolores Black; sister-in-law, Jan and Nick Nicholson; and nieces and nephews. Preceding Randy in death was his father, Heinz, and father-in-law, Robert Black. The service for Randy will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Pederson Funeral Home with Pastor Christopher Wolf officiating. Interment in Rockford Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Hospice of Michigan or the American Heart Association.
