Rick Byle

BYLE - Rick David Byle, 42, of Chesterfield, MI, formerly of Grand Rapids, was unexpectedly called to his heavenly home on February 19, 2009, while snowmobiling near Paradise in the Upper Peninsula. He is survived by his wife, Stacey Lynn; and his children, Jordan Taylor Lynn, 12, and Blake David, 7. He is also survived by his parents, Ron and Rosemary Byle; his brothers, Ray (Ann) and Randy (Candice), all of Grand Rapids; his mother- and father-in-law, John and Lynn Fitzpatrick; and brothers-in-law, Bradley Duncan, Brian (Michelle) Duncan, and Aaron (Susan) Duncan, all of the Chesterfield area; along with 10 nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Rick was a teacher at Anchor Bay High School and a football coach for many years. He loved spending time with family and friends, sports, outdoor activities and, most especially, his wife and children. Visitation will be at Gendernalik Funeral Home, 35259 23 Mile Rd., New Baltimore, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Thursday, with a luncheon to follow at Cedar Glenn Golf Course in New Baltimore.
