Charles Blystone Sr.

BLYSTONE - Charles E. Blystone Sr., aged 71, passed away February 1, 2009 in Leesburg, FL. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Francine; children, Chuck (Sharon) Blystone of Athens, Alabama and Tim Blystone of Cutlerville; his beloved grandchildren, Niki, Eric, Kyle, TJ, Kelsey, Hannah, and Kailey; sisters, Dorothy (Ben) Pack, Barb Blystone; sisters and brothers-in-law, Char (Ralph) VanderBos, Margie Kramer, Gil (Priscilla) DiPiazza; many nieces and nephews; and very special long life friends. Chuck served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt. He was a Steelcase retiree. He loved auto racing and watching his sons and grandsons play hockey. Chuck was a quiet man but those knew him knew that he was a very compassionate and caring person. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Beyers Funeral Home in Umatilla, Florida.
