ZAJACZKOWSKI - Walter "Walt the Barber", passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on January 19, 2009. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, 9 great grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Helen (Broniszko) Zajaczkowski; his children, Mary and Charles Zarzecki, Barbara A. and Victor Ceru, Walter T, and Christine and Jim Forrest; ten grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Ann Zajaczkowski; niece and nephew. Walter was preceded in death by his brother, Ted and nephew, Alan. He served his country in the Army and Air-corp in WWII. Walter was a member of Catholic War Veterans, Post 1500, Sacred Heart Club and Polish Falcons. A Mass of Christian Burial and Committal Service will be celebrated Friday 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. He will repose in church one hour prior to Mass. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Arsulowicz Brothers, West Mortuary, 585 Stocking NW, where a Rosary Service will be held Thursday at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Sacred Heart Church, Spectrum Hospice or a Charity of One's Choice.
