BIESZKA - Mr. Theordore J. Bieszka, aged 85, passed away December 25, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife, Crystal (Jacobs); parents, Charles and Helen; brothers, Charles, Edward, Tom, Jim, Frank; sisters, Cecilia Bieszka, Gert Lemmink, Lucille Olin, Rose Hornik. Surviving are four children, Charles J. Bieszka (Kathy) of Muskegon, Robert J. Bieszka (Mary Jukuri) of Ann Arbor, Joanne M. Feutz (Mike) of Grand Rapids and John T. Bieszka; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer and Daniel Bieszka, Jim Bieszka, Julie Feutz (and fiance Josh Proefrock), Greg (Christine) Feutz, Steven Feutz ( and fiancee Michelle Affholter, David Feutz, Heather (Vince) Galdis, Gabe and Tom Bieszka; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Logan Galdis; two brothers, Robert (Margaret) Bieszka and John (Mary Ann) Bieszka; god daughter, Mrs. Pat (Ed) Mroz; special neighbors, Bob and Betty Miller; in-laws of the Jacobs family; and many nieces and nephews. After serving his country in WWII as a member of the 490th Bomb Group in England, Ted worked for the City of Grand Rapids for 32 years. A wonderful grandfather and generous man with a soft spot for children, he played Santa for many years. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday 11:30 a.m. at Arsulowicz Brothers, West Mortuary, 585 Stocking NW, where his family will receive visitors from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Santa Claus Girls, c/o Grand Rapids Press, 155 Michigan NW.
