Mr. Michael A. Ghareeb, age 84, of Grand Rapids. He was born January 10, 1924 in Lebanon. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Samia; sister-in-law, Marie Ghareeb; his nephews and nieces and their families, Ghassan (Gail) Ghareeb, George (Mirna) Ghareeb, Isabelle (Dr. Nabil) Sultani, Zeina (Nick) Chalhoub, Daad (Mounir) Bhanini, Liliana (Fadi) Sayfee, Dr. Fouzy (Lorraine) Ghareeb, Hanna (Samira) Ghareeb, George (Grace) Ghareeb, John Ghareeb, George (Fayzieh) Ghareeb, and other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., with a Trisagian service at 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church.
