Theodore "Ted" Herrema

Mr. Theodore "Ted" Herrema, aged 92, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 25, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae (Koning) Herrema, daughter, Barbara Guikema, brothers and sisters, John, Ralph, and Henry Herrema, Margaret Koning and Dorothy Huizinga, brother-in-law, Seymour Koning and sister-in-law, Erma Koning. He is survived by his children, Robert (Joyce) Herrema and Phyllis (Bill) Krombeen; grandchildren, Rob (Amy) Herrema, Christy (Todd) Petersen, Kevin (Jeannie) Herrema, Dennis Guikema, Tom (Janel) Guikema, Susan (Joey) Bilyeu, Ben (Pam) Krombeen, Becky Krombeen (fiancé Brandon Hart), and Ryan Krombeen; 17 great grandchildren; in-laws, Jan (Art) Ronda, Al Koning, Joyce (Roger) Heyer, Mildred Koning; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 a.m. at the Raybrook Manor Chapel. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and at Raybrook Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.
