Obituary
Dr. Robert A. DeJonge, age 55, died on October 13, 2008 of a congenital heart defect. Dr. DeJonge was graduated from Rutgers College, New Brunswick, NJ with a B.A. in Mathematics, The University of Arizona, with a Masters of Science in Neurophysiology and The College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. DeJonge will be fondly remembered by his devoted patients for his gift of healing. In addition, he was an international keynote speaker on complimentary medicine, autism and Lyme disease. He served on the board of the American Academy of Anti-Aging, American Academy of environmental medicine, Autism Research Institute and American college for the Advancement of Medicine. Rob was an avid outdoorsman, active in the Gus Macker, marathons, tennis and a member of Cascade Hills Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Deborah; children, Jordan, Robert Reid and Paige; father, Henry DeJonge; mother, Jane DeNoble; brothers, Henry, Steven and Michael; sisters, Leslie Orton and Cheryl Vanderjact. Funeral will be held at Keystone Community Church, 655 Spaulding Ave., S.E. on Friday at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be at the church from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
