Ethel Marge Tenbrink

Ethel Marge Tenbrink, age 88, died Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Brookhaven Medical Care Facility. Ethel was born on November 30, 1919 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late. She married Laurence Hallman and Gerrit Tenbrink and both preceded her in death. Ethel loved dancing at the area Eagles Clubs and was a waitress in Muskegon and Grand Rapids. Ethel is survived by 3 sons: Rodney Tenbrink of Muskegon, James and Thresa Tenbrink of Fremont and Larry Hallman of Ravenna; 4 grandchildren and 6 great -grandchildren. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents and husbands by 1 son, Gerrit Tenbrink and 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 11:00am at St. Catherines Catholic Church with Father Ernest Bernott celebrant. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. The family will be present at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm to receive friends and again on Thursday at 10:00am at St. Catherines Catholic Church. Memorials may be directed to Muskegon Rescue Mission.
