Isla (Ginger) Frick

FRICK - Isla Mae (Ginger), age 78, formerly of Baldwin and Muskegon, Michigan, passed away quietly on Sunday, September 14, 2008. Ginger is survived by her daughters, Sharon (John) Butler of New Era, and Shirley LeRoux (fiance' Tom Westra) of Muskegon; son, Jack (Ellen) Frick of Hudsonville; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one sister, Helene (Ray) Hamm; and one niece and nephew, all of New Jersey. Ginger was preceded in death by her husband, Mervyn; her granddaughter, Kaitlin Frick; and her parents, Rev. John and Wilhelmina Minnema. The family thanks Ginger's loving caregivers at Sheldon Meadows in Hudsonville for their unwavering tenderness and compassion. As per her wishes, she has been cremated and a private graveside service is planned. Friends are invited to celebrate Ginger's life on Saturday, September 27, 2008, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Gifford Lake.
