Wayne E. Bond

Beloved Wayne E. Bond, age 69, passed away Friday, July 18, 2008 at Mercy Health Partners-Sherman Campus. He was born June 18, 1939 in Muskegon Heights, MI to the late Roy and Alma (Carmean) Bond. Wayne served our country in the United States Army. He was retired from Automatic Spring. Wayne loved to camp and fish, spend time with his family, and was especially fond of playing cribbage. Besides his parents, preceding him in death were his daughter, Tammi Grimm; brothers, Donald Bond and Benney Bond; sister-in-law, Marilyn Bond; and brother-in-law, John Huggett. Surviving are his wife, Wanda (Olman); daughter, Teri (John) Galster; 7 grandchildren, Amy (Ronald) McCrary, Kelli Ferrier, Patrick Ferrier, Cameron Ferrier, Melanie (Zach) Kohley, Ashley (A.J.) Lamphere, and Carrie Grimm; 2 great-granddaughters, Kennedy McCrary and Keaton McCrary; son-in-law, Jeffrey Grimm; brother, Harold Bond; sisters, Maxine Huggett and Holly (Donald) Merkins; several beloved nieces and nephews; and his special friend, Tigger. Funeral Services will be Sunday, July 20th at 3:00 p.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1215 E. Apple Ave., with Reverend Robert J. Conradt officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to his service, 2-3p.m. Interment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
