Andrew Mellema

Andrew Mellema, aged 85, of Jenison, completed his work here on earth on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 and is now home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jack Mellema Jr. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Lucille; his children, Jim and Luanne Mellema, Michael Mellema, Janice and Peter Van Strien, Linda and David Eastway, Rick and Joanne Mellema, Jack and Jackie Mellema, Roger and Sue Mellema, Marsha and Tim Brookens; 33 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters in the Netherlands and one brother in Canada; brother-in-law, Chris Kooistra; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00 a.m. at Lee Street Christian Reformed Church, 1261 Lee Street SW, Wyoming with Rev. Kent Rottman officiating. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.
