Lucille Barnes

Lucille Barnes was called home from her earthly labors on May 8, 2008. She was preceded in death by husband, Nathaniel Barnes; son, Ezell Roberts, Jr.; daughters, Mary L. Brown and Diane J. Carter. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Pearlene Milton; a granddaughter that she raised, Jeana (Michael) Weaver; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren; one brother, Elder Eddie (Cora) Matthews; two sisters, Lillian Kelley of Grand Rapids and Thelma Johnson of Meridian, MS; one special niece, Lille Mae Pernell. Public viewing will be held on May 14, 2008 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Gillespie Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held on May 15, 2008 at 12 p.m. Friends can meet with the family one hour prior to services at New Faith Temple COGIC, 1701 Kalamazoo SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49507.
