Genevieve (DeRuiter) "Sis" Aardema

Genevieve (DeRuiter) "Sis" Aardema, aged 94, of Jenison, formerly of Falmouth, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, March 31, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Aardema; great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Bebko; her parents, Albert and Cora (Vis) De Ruiter; and her six brothers. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Corinne and Sam Bosch of Oregon, Don and Ann Aardema of Grandville, Marian (Bert-deceased) Van Wyk of Georgia, Carl and Mary Aardema of Spring Lake, Roger and Carol Aardema of Georgia, Linda and Jerry Bryant of Virginia, Bonnie and Ron Fynewever of Wyoming, MI, Pat and John Fynewever of Sparta, Nancy Aardema and Doug Lindborg of Chicago; 31 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jane Keim, Phyllis Baker, Norma and Don VanderWerf, Arlene Mains; sisters-in-law, Jeanette, Esther, Ida, and Tressa DeRuiter; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday 11:30 a.m. at Prosper Christian Reformed Church, 1975 E. Prosper Rd., Falmouth, MI with Rev. Bill Huyser and Rev. Ron Fynewever, officiating. Interment Prosper Cemetery, Falmouth, MI. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Northern Michigan Christian School or CRWRC.
