George Robert Durling, age 93, of Muskegon, Michigan passed away March 25, 2008. He was born in Lakeview, Michigan and was preceded in death by his wife; Margaret (Warmuskerken) (Visger) Durling, his mother: Rosa May (Stimer) Durling-Jentink, father: James Blaine Durling, two brothers: Lewis and Lee Earl Durling. He is survived by six step-children: Ellis (Diane) Visger, Sam Visger, Daniel (Donna) Visger, Judy (Forrest) McCauley, James (Deborah) Visger, Steven (Lynn) Visger, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters: Paul Durling, Ila May Minert, Ruth Jean Rodriguez, and Wesley John Durling. George was a member of Faith Bible Church. He was retired from Muskegon Construction. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 28, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave., Muskegon, Michigan. Visitation will be Thursday, March 27 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Bible Church.
