Donald Luin Bluhm, aged 81, of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2008. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Iva. Don will be lovingly remembered by his children, Cassandra (James) Kinney, Jeff Bluhm, Dan (Vicki) Bluhm, brother Duane and Helen Bluhm; brothers-in-law, Al (Gayle) Peterson, Norman (Yvonne) Peterson; sister-in-law, Terri (Paul) Gryka; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He retired from the Grand Rapids Board of Education. Served in the Merchant Marines and was a life time member of the Reed City Moose and member of VFW Dad's. Don always enjoyed salmon fishing, hunting and wood working. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2008 at the Reyers North Valley Chapel 2815 Fuller Ave. N.E. Friends and relatives may greet the family on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to a charity of your choice.
