Obituary
Mrs. Nancy Elise DeWitt, age 53, passed away Friday, February 1, 2008. She was born October 7, 1954 in Muskegon to Orrie and Delores (Brondyke) DeGraff and had been a life long resident. Mrs. DeWitt had worked for D&W Foods in the deli, and also for the Mona Shores Schools food service department. She enjoyed playing clarinet with the Muskegon Community College Concert Winds, and also enjoyed arts and crafts. Mrs. DeWitt was a member of Bethany Christian Reformed Church. On September 23, 1977, she married James H. DeWitt in Muskegon, and he preceded her in death on March 8, 1985. SURVIVORS include her 2 sons, Jeremy (Laura Cordle) DeWitt of Muskegon and Joshua (Kristen Mura) DeWitt of Whitehall; 5 grandchildren, Seanna, Julianna, Anessa, Lillian, and Tyler; 2 sisters, Lynn (Thomas) Miller of Muskegon and Janis (Douglas) Potter of Jenison; 1 brother, David (Vicki) DeGraff of Big Rapids, MI; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her father , Orrie DeGraff, in 2003. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11AM Wednesday at Bethany Christian Reformed Church 1105 Terrace, with her pastor, Rev. David Sieplinga officiating. VISITATION 1 hour prior to the service (10-11AM). MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS in Nancy's memory may be made to the Noah Project.
