Gregory Wiessner

Died Saturday, January 19th, 2008 as a result of an accident. Greg was born October 6, 1962 in Kalamazoo to Ronald W. Sr. and Mary K. Wiessner (Laughlin). He was married to Christine C. Preston on April 28, 1984, in Kalamazoo. Greg worked for Shaver Road Auto Service for ten years. He was also an outdoorsman with a love for hunting, fishing and was a longtime member of the National Rifle Association. Greg also left behind two children, Kyla and Troy Wiessner; his parents; brother, Ron (Becky) Wiessner Jr.; and sister, Penny (Dan) Gettle. He was the helper of the family, someone, anyone could call for help with anything anytime and he would be by your side. Funeral services will be held 11:00 o'clock, Wednesday, January 23rd at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave., Portage. Visitation will be Tuesday, the 22nd at the Portage Chapel, from 2-4 and 6-8 o'clock. Memorial donations can be made to the family. 269-343-1508.
