Vernon Webster

Vernon Webster age 88 of Holland, died Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Oak Crest Manor. Vernon retired from Mechanical Transplanter where he had worked as a welder. He was an active member of the Beechwood Church and served in the United States Army during WWII. Vernon was preceded in death by his wife Frances on April 6, 1984. Surviving are his children-Gretta and James Vanden Brink of Holland, Stephen and Deborah Webster of West Olive, Kathryn and William Olney of Zeeland, and Glenna Webster of Holland; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brother-Donald and Margaret Webster of Kalamazoo; in-laws-Nelson and Bernice Koeman of Zeeland, Marvin Koeman of Holland, Elsie Oosting of Zeeland, and Esther Nelson of Virginia. Memorial services will be held at 11 am Friday at Beechwood Church, 895 Ottawa Beach Road, with the Rev. Jim Lankheet officiating. Visiting will be 7-9 pm Thursday at the Mulder Chapel-Dykstra Life Story Funeral Homes, 188 West 32nd Street. Memorials may be made to ones choice.
