Obituary
(Sparta) James Edward Blondin, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 13, 2007 doing what he loved most, enjoying the outdoors. Jim was born May 15, 1958 in Grand Rapids. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward. He is survived by his three loving daughters, Felicia Marie, Heather Ann, and Angela Kay Blondin; grandson, Isayah James all of Grand Rapids; mother, Mary Jane Blondin of Sparta; sister, Jane and Russell Bock of Petosky; brothers, Stephen and Rosemary Blondin of Rockford, Thomas Blondin of S.C.; the mother of his daughters, Charlene Blondin of Grand Rapids; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jim loved trying to turn his three girls into his "boys", camping, fishing, and enjoying nature. He loved hunting, fishing, playing cards and spending time with his loving family and all his friends. Mass of the Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, October 17, 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with Msgr. Terrence Stewart Celebrant. Friends may meet the family at the Funeral Home on Monday 7 to 9, Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday at the Church one hour prior to the mass. A prayer vigil service will be prayed on Tuesday evening at the Funeral Home at 7:30 p.m. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to be made to Isayah James Education Fund.
