Obituary
Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on October 11, 2007 at Rose Arbor Hospice with her loving family at her side. Marilyn was born on February 19, 1933 in Allegan, Michigan daughter of Plin and Roberta Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, John Scheel and her children Teresa (Larry) Rayman, Sally (Ken) Lake, Scott (Anita) Mangles, Julie (Tim) Fish, Janet Scheel, Jane Scheel and John Scheel. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Andrew (Candace) Rayman, Timothy (Jennifer) Rayman, Betsy Hemminger, Brian (Rachel) Simpson, Brooklynn York, Jonathan Mangles, Alex Fish, Zachary Fish, Sydney Fish and Andrea Scheel, Cameren Lake and her great-granddaughter Morgan Rayman. She is also survived by many lifelong friends from Allegan known as the Dirty Dozen. Marilyn taught kindergarten at Spring Valley Elementary School for approximately 25 years. She had a full and active life including vacations with her children and grandchildren, winters spent in Arizona, golf league, bridge group and many fond memories of times spent at Pine Lake with her family and friends. Marilyn also had a great love for her church. Services will be held on Monday, october 15, 2007. The family will greet friends at 10:00 AM, service to begin at 10:30 AM at the First Congregational Church of Otsego.
