Raymond Souter age 94 of Holland died Monday, October 08, 2007 at Holland Hospital. Ray was born in Holland and was a lifelong resident. He retired in 1975 from General Motors Fisher Body Stamping Division in Grand Rapids, MI. Ray was a member of the Central Park Reformed Church and a former member of the Bethel Reformed Church. Ray is survived by his wife Doris of 69 years; children-Arthur Souter of Cooks, MI, Kenneth and Judy Souter of West Olive, and Janice and Mike Lozon of Holland; grandchildren-Jody and Jim Knott, Kerri Souter, and Mandy Lozon; great grandchildren-Adam Knott and Sarah Knott; nephews-Joe Vande Venne of Michigan and Tim Vande Venne of Iowa; niece-Marilyn Vande Venne of Portland, MI; and cousins. Services will be held 11 am Thursday at the Dykstra Life Story Funeral Homes-Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Ave., with the Rev. David Landegent officiating. Burial will be in the Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Visiting will be 7-9 pm Wednesday at the Dykstra Life Story Funeral Homes-Northwood Chapel. Memorials may be made to ones choice.
