Mrs. Pamela Lynn Burgert, aged 40, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2007. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, George Hallas; brother, Ron Peck; and grandparents, Chalmers and Gladys Morford. Pamela is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Howard; children, Ally and Jake; her mother, Dorothy Zissler; brother, Jim (Robin) Peck; sister, Sue (Eric) Brown; also surviving are Howard's parents, Mary Ann and Duane Burgert; Pam's sisters-in-law, Kim Peck, Sherrie (Denny) Frantz, Tammy (Dave) Thompson; numerous nieces and nephews; step sisters, Mary (Jerry) Brandow, Bonnie Hallas and her special friends, Lorrie Colligan, Lisa Dudick, Vera Hamacher, Jody Meinke, Sue Smits, Nancy Buczynski, Nancy Altena and many others. Pam enjoyed camping and boating with her family and friends, an avid Nascar fan, and proud to be a Panthers Cheer Mom. She received the 2007 Spirit of Avon Award from District 4842. A Celebration of Pam's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 8, 2007, at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr., NE. The family will greet relatives and friends Saturday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions in Pam's memory will be collected at the funeral chapel, and applied toward an Education Fund for Ally and Jake.
