Harold Adama, 83, of West Olive, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2007, in Holland Hospital. He was a member of Pine Creek Christian Reformed Church and retired from Consumers Energy. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in World War II and was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Timothy and Jeanne Adama of Tucson, Ariz., Karen and Lud Scholten of Holland, Nancy and Bruce Mosier of Rockford; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, George and Bonnie Adama of Redlands, Calif., and Richard Adama of Newaygo; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Gloria De Witte of Grandville; nephews, nieces and cousins. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at South Olive Christian Reformed Church, 6425 120th Ave. The Rev. Jeffrey Voorhees will be officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the church and also 10 to 10:50 a.m. Thursday prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Bethany Christian Services. Arrangements are by Lakeshore Memorial Services.
