KOVACIC, Rita E. Of Kalamazoo Died April 25, 2007 at her residence following an extended illness. Rita was born November 3, 1934 in Battle Creek, MI the daughter of Augustus and Irene (Allen) Currier. She was an active member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church serving as a Eucharistic Minister and Sacristan. She was a member of the Rosary Group, St. Vincent DePaul Society, Prision Ministry and volunteered with VNA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank and son Martin. Surviving are 10 children and spouses; Bernard (Theresa) Kovacic, Bruno (Lynn) Kovacic, Damien (Lynn) Kovacic, Sam (Lynn) Kovacic, Jeff (Barbie) Kovacic, Jerry (Anna) Kovacic, Bart (Debbie) Kovacic, Jacob (Myla) Kovacic, Missy (Steve) Neynaber, and Regina Kovacic; 41 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers; John & Richard Currier and 2 sisters; Sister Alys Currier and Sister Ann Currier, several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Life Story Funeral Home-Betzler 6080 Stadium Dr. 375-2900 where a rosary will be recited Monday at 7:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday 11 am St. John Bosco Catholic Church, Mattawan. Cremation will follow with interment in Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
