Patrick W. Dirkin

Patrick died Thursday, June 22, 2006 at his home. He was born January 7, 1972 in Atlanta, GA, the son of William and Beverly (Wade) Dirkin. In 1990, Patrick graduated from Portage Northern High School. After college, he and a partner founded Helios Media in Kalamazoo, a graphics design company. For the past five years, he has been struggling to recover from an accidental fall. Patrick enjoyed skiing, golfing, playing his guitar, and has been a member of several local bands. Surviving are his parents, Beverly Dirkin, William and Elrene Dirkin; his brother, Kenneth and Kathryn Dirkin of East Lansing; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and close friends, Sean Jones and Kristyn Danna. Services for Patrick will be at 12:00 noon on Wednesday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1747 W. Milham Road. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until the time of services at the church. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
