Timothy E. Maddocks, age 31, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, March 2, 2015 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Tim was born in Racine, September 21, 1983, son of Thomas and Catherine (Nee: Neeb) Maddocks.

Tim graduated from St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 2002” and Great Lakes Culinary Institute, Traverse City, Michigan. In his earlier years, Tim was very active in Boy Scouts St. Rita’s Troop #161. On June 19, 2010 at St. Rita Catholic Church he was united in marriage to the love of his life Erin L. Urban. Tim was currently a self-employed General Contractor. An excellent chef, Tim was also a talented artist, woodworker, gardener, and potter. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed his time up north at the cabin fishing, hunting, and his time around the campfire with family and friends. First and foremost it was his family that gave him the most joy. Tim especially cherished time spent with his boys wrestling and goofing around. His sense of humor and hearty contagious laugh will be forever missed.

Survivors include his loving wife, Erin; his sons, Owynn and Emmet; his soon to be born daughter Molly; his parents, Thomas and Catherine “Kitty” Maddocks; brother, Michael (Ashli) Maddocks; grandparents, Joyce Neeb, Dean (Arlene) Howe, James Urban, Eileen Schroeder; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Scott (Coleen) Urban; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Elise (Matthew) Christensen, Chelsey (Mike) Cacciotti; nieces and nephews, Kaiya and Logan Christensen, Andi Cacciotti and Mason Maddocks; other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James (Nancy) Maddocks, Bruce Neeb; and cousin, James Buck.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 7, 2015, 10:00 A.M. at St. Rita Catholic Church, 4339 Douglas Avenue, with Rev. Kurt Frederick officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and Saturday at the church from 9:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 10:00 A.M.
