Rickie Sheldon

Rickie A. Sheldon, Jr., age 35, of Otsego, MI went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 28, 2015 in Otsego due to a tragic accident. He was born June 7, 1979 in Kalamazoo, the son of Rickie and Patricia (Winn) Sheldon. He grew up in Otsego and was a 1998 graduate of Otsego High School. Rick enjoyed many sports, especially playing softball on a league with his many friends and following the Detroit Lions. He was an avid reader and an active member and Elder at Gateway Freedom Church in Allegan. On July 16, 2011 he married Amy Hisler who survives. Also surviving are his parents; his brother Broc Sheldon of Allegan; his grandmothers, Millie Boss of Otsego and Geneva Davis of Ionia; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends. His family will greet friends Thursday from 5-8pm at Winkel Funeral Home in Otsego, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11am with Pastor Earl VanDyke officiating. Burial will follow at Trowbridge Methodist Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Rick may be made to the Gateway Freedom Church.
